Pineapple SVG (lat. Ananas) – perennial herbaceous plant, belongs to the flower department, the class of monocotyledon, the order of cereals and the family of bromelias.
The homeland of pineapple is the arid plateau regions of Brazil, and the first Europeans to taste the exotic fruit were members of the team of Christopher Columbus, who called pineapple the most delicious on earth.
Is Pineapple SVG a berry or a fruit?
Many people ask a question, is pineapple a berry or a fruit? Or maybe it’s a vegetable? In fact, pineapple is grass (a herbaceous plant), and scientists use the names “tropical fruit” or “snout” to describe it.
Pineapple SVG – description, structure.
Pineapple SVG is a rather prickly plant with exceptionally juicy and sweet and spicy fruits. The height of the plant varies from 60 to 100 cm. Pineapple leaves are succulent and can accumulate moisture in their tissues, like cacti. The length of individual leaves is 30-100 cm (some species can reach more than 2 and more meters). Numerous leaves are collected in a wide socket, and in their sinuses is a lot of adjunctive roots, absorbing the accumulated moisture. In pineapple leaves there are a lot of fibers in the leaves, which give the leaves strength and elasticity.
The plant’s root system develops rather poorly. Basically, the roots of the pineapple are buried in the soil for no more than 25-30 centimeters, and thus cover a very small volume of soil.
At the point of growth of the fully formed rosette a long (up to 60 cm) flower shoot is formed. Pineapple flowers are hollow, conjoined and located at the top of the floral shoot, sitting very often, forming a spiral. Flowers blossom in turn, approximately 10 flowers a day. The flowering period lasts about 3 weeks, after which a mini fruit develops from each flower. The mini-ferries that come together are an entire pineapple nozzle. When pollinating flowers (e.g. with hummingbird birds), seeds are formed in them, but the presence of seeds in the nozzles reduces their edible qualities. Therefore, in industrial cultivation of pineapples people try to avoid their pollination.
The Pineapple SVG nozzle, ready to eat, is very similar to a big golden-brown cone. Inside the nozzle there is a fairly rigid axis, on the sides of which there are fruits that are surprisingly juicy and tender, ending in the remains of keratinized flowers and covering leaves. The average weight of the pineapple is about 2 kg, and its tip is decorated with a crown (a broom of short leaves), which appears as the inner axis of the nozzle grows.
Most of the pineapples grown in the crop do not have seeds, and the reproduction takes place with the help of stalking shoots, which are easily separated and rooted. However, when crossed with some other varieties, the seeds do develop and can also be used to reproduce the plant.
Once the first pineapple fruit has ripened, the plant releases side shoots, which are used for vegetative propagation. Usually the side processes are removed, after which the pineapple blooms and bears fruit a second time. After the second harvest, the plant is uprooted and replaced by a new one.
In the mature pineapple pulp you can see the white small inclusions – seeds. Also, the pineapple nozzle is permeated with a lot of conductive bundles – the main elements of the conductive system of the plant.
The immature pineapple has a rather caustic, lip-burning taste and is a powerful laxative. The ripe pineapple is distinguished by its excellent taste and bright saturated aroma. The flesh of a mature fruit has a yellowish or white color.
