Music SVG is an art form. According to A. N. Sohor, this kind of music “reflects reality and influences the human being by means of sensible and especially organized in height and time sound sequences, consisting mainly of tones”. In BDT (2013), music is defined as “the art of sounds, organized mainly in height and time”. G.G. Eggebrecht, speaking of music “in the Western sense of the word”, defines it as “an artistic organization of sounding, which, in the sense of a natural and emotionally perceived sounding phenomenon, draws a picture of the world and soul, unconsciously and specifically seized by hearing, and in the sense of art becomes the spiritual “language” of the material world, reflexive and ordered (and hence meaningful and semantic) through theoretical knowledge. There are other encyclopedic definitions of music.

Music SVG Introduction

In the early stages of human evolution, music was almost exclusively applied. Hence the “canonicality” of the musical style, the small expression in it of individual-author beginning. In the professional work of mature musical cultures music was gradually freed from the direct dependence on the word, dance, and ritual context. Since the late Middle Ages (15th century), and especially during the Renaissance in Europe, for the first time the forms of so-called autonomous music (according to G. Besseler “presented”, i.e. intended exclusively for listening) developed, an independent logic of composer’s thinking was formed, and the profession of composer became separate. In the New Age (starting with the Baroque era), the “applied” component continued to exist in the form of so-called program music, but at the same time the ideas of the “immanent essence” of music emerged, one of the most popular ideas in the 19th century – the idea of absolute music. In the works of the avant-garde artists of the 20th century, the “autonomous” vector of the history of music reached another climax – composers gave their compositions headlines that excluded any association with the usual genres and forms (for example, “Five Pieces for Orchestra” by Webern, “Structures” by Boulez, “Composition No. 2”). In the case of Ustvolskaya, etc.), or the titles attributed to the works were purely conditional in nature.

Music SVG Prehistoric era

It is assumed that the emergence of modern man occurred about 160 thousand years ago in Africa. About 50,000 years ago, people settled in all habitable continents. Since all the people of the world, including the most isolated tribal groups, have some form of music, historians have come to the conclusion that music should have been present at the first people in Africa, before they settled on the planet. It is assumed that music has existed for at least 50,000 years since its inception in Africa and has gradually become an integral part of human life across the planet.

Prehistoric, or primitive, is commonly referred to as oral musical tradition. Examples include American and Australian Aboriginal music. The prehistoric era in music ends with the transition to recording. The age of the oldest known song, recorded on a cuneiform plate and discovered at the excavations of Nippur, is estimated at about 4 thousand years.

One of the oldest musical instruments recorded by scientists is the flute. In particular, a copy of the flute was found next to the sculptures, which are attributed to 35-40 thousand years BC.

Music SVG of Ancient Greece

It is believed that it was in Ancient Greece that music reached its peak in the culture of the Ancient world. The word “music” itself is of ancient Greek origin. In ancient Greece, for the first time, the natural connection between the height of sound and the number, the discovery of which is attributed by tradition to Pythagoras, was noted. Music as a subject of education and upbringing and as a component of social life was of great importance for the Greeks and, in general, for the whole of the later European civilization.
