One of the Midwest Michigan SVG states is located in the heart of the Great Lakes. Michigan boasts numerous attractions, famous natural sites, as well as picturesque state and national parks and forests. In addition to the Great Lakes, four of which are in Michigan, the state has about 12,000 inland lakes, 38 deep-water ports, and as many reservoirs as no other state in the United States except Alaska has.
Michigan SVG is geographically unique, because it is formed by two large peninsulas, the Upper and Lower Peninsulas, and is divided into five regions: the Upper Peninsula, as well as the Northern, Western, Central and South-Eastern Michigan. Major cities: the capital Lansing, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Milwaukee, Holland, Maxegon, Kalamazoo, Sagino, Su-Saint Marie.
