Colorado SVG, America’s most rocky and mountainous region, is located in the western part of the country in the Rocky Mountains. Here are the highest peaks of the country, including the Elbert peak, which has risen by more than four and a half kilometers. Not surprisingly, skiing is a major contributor to the state budget: there are four popular resorts here: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone. In addition, the prestigious Aspen is nearby, and world-famous celebrities roll up its slopes. All resorts are connected by a free bus, and there is also one ski pass for the ski lifts – The Colorado Ticket.
Colorado SVG entertainment and attractions
Excursion direction № 1 in the state is the National Park of Rocky Mountains with spectacular mountain landscapes, picturesque rivers and valleys. The reserve is home to a large number of mammals and birds that can be seen on foot from one of the five visitor centers. Number 2 is the legendary Eldorado Canyon.
The black canyon of Gannison National Park is almost 20 km of picturesque gorge with steep cliffs on both sides of the hiking trail. It is also worth visiting the Great Dunes National Park, where, as the name suggests, you can see the highest American dunes – up to more than 200 meters. In the Mesa Verde Park there are very remarkable prehistoric rock dwellings. Finally, in the Colorado Wine Valley, you can get to know in detail the process of growing grapes (and the taste of the resulting product).
