Ballet SVG (French ballet, from Italian ballare – to dance) – a kind of stage art; the performance, the content of which is embodied in musical and choreographic images. Classical ballet is based on a certain plot, a playwright’s plan, a libretto, and in the 20th century there appeared a storyless ballet, the drama of which is based on the development of the music. The main types of dance in ballet are classical dance and a characteristic dance, which, since the XIX century, include folk and national dances, processed for performance in a ballet performance. An important role is played by the pantomime, with the help of which the actors convey the feelings of the heroes, their “conversation” with each other, the essence of what is happening, and in many performances – also grotesque.
Modern ballet widely uses other dance techniques (primarily modern and jazz dancing), as well as elements of gymnastics, acrobatics, martial arts and the like.
Ballet SVG History
In the beginning – as a unified action or mood dance scene, an episode in the musical representation, opera. Borrowed from Italy, France blossoms as a magnificent solemn spectacle – the court Ballet SVG. The beginning of the ballet era in France and around the world should be considered as October 15, 1581, when the performance of the show, which is considered to be the first ballet – “The Queen’s Comedy Ballet” (or “Circea”), staged by the Italian violinist, “the main intendant of music” Balthazarini de Belgioso, took place at the French court. The musical basis of the first ballets was made up of court dances, which were part of the ancient suite. In the second half of the 17th century new theatrical genres appeared, such as comedy-ballet, opera-ballet, in which a significant place is given to ballet music, and attempts are made to dramatize it. But ballet became an independent type of stage art only in the second half of the 18th century due to the reforms implemented by the French ballet master Jean-Georges Noverre (1727-1810). Based on the aesthetics of French enlighteners, he created performances in which the content is revealed in dramatic and expressive images.
Russian Ballet SVG
In Russia, the first ballet performance was held on February 8, 1673 at the court of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich in the village of Preobrazhenskoye near Moscow. The national originality of the Russian ballet began to form at the beginning of the 19th century thanks to the work of the French choreographer Charles-Louis Didlo. Didlo strengthens the role of the Cordebalet, the connection between dance and pantomime, asserts the priority of female dance. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky made a real breakthrough in ballet music, bringing in its continuous symphonic development, deep figurative content and dramatic expressiveness. The music of his ballets Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, along with the symphonic opportunity to reveal the inner course of action, to embody the characters of the characters in their interaction, development and struggle. The beginning of the XX century was marked by innovative searches, striving to overcome stereotypes, conventionality of the academic ballet of the XIX century.
Art Nouveau Dance
Art Nouveau Dance is a trend in dance art, which appeared in the beginning of the XX century as a result of the departure from the strict norms of ballet, in favor of the creative freedom of performers and choreographers. His harbinger was Tchaikovsky, who denied ballet technique, rehearsed movement before the mechanism and the very aesthetics of artificial “ballet beauty”. His adherents were interested in dance as a special philosophy that can change life, as the return of man to the natural movement, to himself. Loya Fuller, a dancer, is considered to be the founder of free dance, which served as a source of various directions of modern dance and plastics and gave an impulse to the reform of the most classical dance. She began her ascent in her troupe and another dancer, Isadora Duncan, who later became a more famous free dance dancer.
Ballet SVG as an art
In its evolution, ballet is becoming more and more close to sport, losing its dramatic role on the way, sometimes being ahead of the technique, but lagging behind in its content.
The complex training of a professional artist requires knowledge of musical culture, history, literature and scriptwriting. At the same time, since the age of seven children have been undergoing gymnastics training, because the ballets of the past, which have survived to this day, have been technically improved, and modern ballet on a classical basis, such as Forsythe ballet, requires serious physical training, so ballerina Sylvie Guillaume began her career with gymnastics.
Ancient ballets had sublime aesthetics and were sometimes staged on antique subjects, such as Charles Didlo’s production of “Zephyr and Flora”.
A new wave of romanticism appeared in ballet at the beginning of the XX century, its precursor was the choreographer Mikhail Fokin
In Russia, up to the 20th century, choreography, music, drama and various applied theatrical professions were taught in one institution – the Imperial Theatre School. Depending on the success of the children, they were identified or transferred to the appropriate department. After the revolution of 1917, schools were divided and ballet education began to exist autonomously. At the same time, many theatres retained a mixed repertoire: dramatic performances alternated with operetta and ballet divertissements. So, for example, apart from performances in Bolshoi, Kasyan Goleizovsky staged ballet performances in “The Bat” and “Mammoth Theatre of Miniatures”, among which was the production of “Les Tableaux vivants”, meaning “revived picture”, as Goleizovsky, first of all, was an artist. This phenomenon develops in modern ballet as a “lively picture”, “lively picture” and “lively sculpture”.
In 2001, Saparmurat Turkmenbashi abolished ballet and opera in Turkmenistan. “I don’t understand ballet,” he said. – Why would I want him? …You can’t instill in Turkmens a love of ballet if they don’t have it in their blood. The Makhtumkuli National Music and Drama Theatre was established instead of the Turkmen Opera and Ballet Theatre.
